What Does Sustainable Even Mean?

I think it’s safe to say that there is a great deal of us that want to make a positive impact on the world, it could even be the reason you’re looking at my blog in the first place. Even The Beatles said, “We all want to change the world…” But where do we start?

Well, we can start with the wine we purchase and drink, but even that can get a little complicated.

We’re presented with all of these appealing terms that winemakers love to brag about such as “Organic”  “BioDynamic” and “Sustainable”… but what do they actually mean?

Well, Organic means that the wine has been made with organically grown grapes free of synthetic pesticides, GMO’s or added sulfites. Even the yeast used during fermentation must be organic.
