Trump v Clinton: The British Sequel

Tomorrow is polling day in the United Kingdom general election.

But it has become a Presidential Election!

Since the initial announcement, it has been in the style of the American presidential election. Theresa May made it clear that the election was all about her leadership versus that of Jeremy Corbyn. Nothing else matters. Not their own political parties, nor the other political parties, nor the people, nor any of the national issues.

So this is the latest crazy loony toon movie

Title:              Trump v Clinton: The British Sequel
Location:      United Kingdom
Cast:              Donald Trump played by Theresa May
Hillary Clinton played by Jeremy Corbyn

It would be fantastic if everyone reverted voting for the candidate in their constituency who they believe will best represent them.

Personally, I shall be voting for Dan Hill. He was born in Andover and has lived and worked in the area all of his life. He represents the Green Party of England and Wales whose values most closely match my own.

Dan Hill

Green Party General Election Candidate

Dan Hill

Dan was raised and educated in North West Hampshire. He has worked continually since the age of 17. The first four years in warehouses until deciding to switch to an office to improve his opportunities. There he found his skills in master data management which he has now been practicing for 13 years.

Always interested in economics, it was discovering the principle of Land Value Taxation (LVT) which shaped his political views. In 2013 this led to joining the Green Party upon learning that Caroline Lucas was putting a bill supporting LVT through Parliament.
