Challenge: Two Sentence Horror Story

Can you write a horror story in just two sentences?

Here is my attempt.

As I regained consciousness, I realised that I was naked, tied to a tree and smothered in beef gravy. The wolves that circled around me were licking their lips and baring their sharp, glistening fangs.

What do you think?

Please share your own attempt in the comments below.

Hey Lance, I like it! The beef gravy part could easily have come across as silly, but it doesn’t. Your two sentence story is eloquent and fairy tale-like. I’d love to read an expanded version.

I knew I should have listened to my daughter, but work had been eating me like a cancer, and between that and my sex life, I never had time to really open up to her. Now she’s gone, and so are the parts of my right ear that she scooped out with a scalpel before I woke up.

I struggled to keep my cool as the first scoop of dirt landed on the coffin. It wasn’t until the water started running in through the bottom that I regretted scheduling the rescue for the next day.
