Esther’s Challenge – Can You Tell A Story In . . .

It is Thursday and time for your latest five-word story challenge from Esther Chilton

This is an open invitation to all of my followers and Esther’s to have some fun with words.

Today is my birthday, which I have the honour to share with Ludwig van Beethoven, Arthur C Clarke, Jane Austen and Catherine of Aragon.

Before I proceed any further down the slippery path of relating more events that happened on this day in history, allow me to introduce Esther’s latest challenge to you all. It is to tell a story in five words, using the word SLIDE in it somewhere.

Here are a few starters for you:

Don’t let the opportunity slide

Lubrication guarantees a smooth slide

From the shadows they slide

Helter-skelter slide is exciting ride

Please post your submissions in the Comments on this post.
